Adrian and Peter, Santa Fe Elopement

Summertime weddings in Santa Fe are sun-kissed and sing of romance. Adrian and Peter’s wedding added prominent modern touches and breathed fresh life into the ancient walls of the Loretto Chapel. Between Adrian’s lively jumpsuit hybrid, Peter’s prominent blue jacket, and their uniquely belted cake, this novel wedding compares to none other.
The wildflower centerpieces kissed their reception with class and delicacy, and sweet four legged friend trotted into our hearts wearing a white tutu!
We’ll always remember Adrian and Peter for their affectionate interactions and for the laughter they shared in the old Santa Fe Plaza.

Amber and Joe’s Santa Fe, New Mexico Wedding

Amber and Joe’s Santa Fe wedding was so whimsical. Each detail was unique and representative of this sweet couple. The southwest day was still and hot; dressed-up and ready to watch Amber and Joe marry. Beauty radiated throughout—rippling through Amber’s veil, glistening in her flawless jewelry, and contrasting against stucco and storm-cloud-hued doors. Unconditionally supporting Amber were four lovely ladies in mesa pink and wild sage green. The messy elegance of nude, blushing garden roses touched every element of this southwestern wedding, neatly tying up any loose ends. Small yet strong details breathed life into this magical day, and though Amber’s necklace winked with the grace of Cinderella’s stagecoach, she remained a princess at the stroke of midnight. Scroll through their wedding photos below to see the wrought iron gates open, hear the ancient bells ring, and watch Amber and Joe dance into happily ever after.

Megan and Christopher, Santa Fe Elopement Wedding

We fell in love with this Santa Fe elopement – its intimacy, the heavy rain clouds, and the bated breath it held for Megan and Christopher. Overcast skies in Santa Fe smell like anticipation; on this day, the anticipation cascaded down through Megan’s long veil and illuminated Christopher’s confident smile. Marisa’s Millefiori florals handsomely complemented the coral-clad bridesmaids and smiling delight twinkled in the eyes of all who attended this beautiful wedding. See their wedding photos below to drink in the pure happiness of Megan and Christopher’s New Mexico elopement.

Nikki and Ethan, Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town

It’s #WeddingWednesday and we are so ready to celebrate by highlighting a very special couple that have touched our hearts immensely! Typically we like to start off our blog posts by stating our thoughts about the special couple that we have had the pleasure of working with and their union but alas we have stumbled upon the most beautifully written excerpt that perfectly encapsulates their love story and who are we to re-imagine such a masterpiece?! Get comfy, give it a read and then enjoy some of the most magical wedding day photos ever. You can literally feel the warmth radiating from these images! We feel so lucky to have been there to capture it all and we can’t even begin to comprehend the journey that these two are in for. We will be there cheering them on all the way…

We began our story after meeting online in January 2016 and hilarity immediately ensued. Our first date was at an ice cream shop in Brooklyn. Nikki, just recently moving to Brooklyn to escape the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, thought there was only one Ample Hill Creamery location and ended up at the wrong one. After realizing the snafu (via a series of very confused text messages), we successfully met and Ethan remembers vividly how fast his heart was racing when a gorgeous, stylish Nikki walked through the door! From that moment we have not been able to get enough of each other, going on 5 more dates in the next two weeks. Nikki knew this would be something special after our spontaneous third date where we enjoyed brunch and a long walk around Dumbo, Brooklyn which fittingly saw us get caught in the rain. While Nikki remembers being sopping wet with her makeup running and still feeling like the most beautiful girl to Ethan (which is still how he makes her feel today), Ethan remembers not having any clue that her makeup was running because he was too busy smiling like an idiot at her while hoping that their walk would never end.

What we love most about each other is our ability to openly and honestly communicate; because of that, we work well as a team, deeply respect each other and have come to learn that when the going gets tough we can unflinchingly rely on one another. We have an unshakeable deep and loving bond and are thrilled to unite together for life.

Our adventures have taken us all over the globe, through leaking roofs and career pitfalls, into two apartments, and (barely) through two trips to Ikea. We’ve been to Paris, Spain, Nice, Cannes, Cancun, Copenhagen, Costa Rica, Reno, San Francisco, and so many more places – but to this day we talk about how unbelievably lucky we were to both be in Brooklyn in January 2016…

Megan and Kevin, Historic Farmhouse

Megan and Kevin first met during their sophomore year of college in a science class and let’s just say the “chemistry” didn’t end there. Fast forward to April of 2019, these “university” sweethearts took a giant leap of faith into their forever and it was glorious to say the very least. Picture it- a beautiful spring day, surrounded by friends and family at one of the most elegant, historic spaces, in all of Albuquerque. The Dietz Farms is a private space and served as the perfect, tucked-away backdrop for a day that looks like it was plucked right out of a fairytale. No detail was overlooked and we wouldn’t expect anything less especially with Just Lovely Wedding + Event Planning behind the wheel, working her magic!

Scrolling these photos again today, I had a few moments of raw reflection (and some happy tears). On the outside, you’ll see gorgeous images of a lovely couple but the true beauty lies within with these two. My theory is that the contagious smiles and sheer happiness seen here is cultivated from a profound sense of contentment. It’s the feeling of being at home no matter where you are in the world because you finally have YOUR person- the feeling that comes when you find the one whom your soul truly loves at last. We feel so lucky to fall witness to such profound love especially the kind that Megan & Kevin share- we have been so delighted to re-live this momentous occasion and bask in it. We hope you’ll do the same and spend a little time with us and this gorgeous gallery.

PS. In case you needed one more reason to scroll, the world’s CUTEST pup makes many debuts below- it’s worth your time, we promise!
