Audra and Drew, Sandia Mountain Rock House

The Rock House in the Sandia Mountains is a popular place for beautiful photos … top it off with a beautiful sunset and it makes a pretty fabulous session! Congratulations Audra and Drew on your engagement!

Valentina and Michael, La Mesita Ranch

Valentina and Mike wanted our wedding to encompass all they love about New Mexico. With the beautiful backdrop of La Mesita Ranch in Santa Fe, this amazing couple created a day that was inspired by Southwestern details along with gorgeous smoke clouds of color. Valentina and Mike were passionate about making a day that was beautiful, and deeply personal. They planned every aspect of the wedding together and made sure to add personalized and unique details such as hand-sanding and stamping their Mexican tile favors. Prior to their wedding day, the couple hiked the NM desert to pick prickly pears from cactus to make their signature margarita mix. The ceremony was very brief but personal. The bride and groom’s fathers played guitar to a song written specially for the couple. The grandmother’s on both sides were appointed “flower-feather girls” which delighted family members in attendance. We absolutely loved being a part of Valentina and Mike’s amazing day!

Ileana and Benjamin

Ileana and Benjamin couldn’t have picked a more charming, spiritual place to exchange i-do’s. Situated in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the village of Chimayó, New Mexico is just 40 minutes from Santa Fe. Friends and family gathered at one of Chimayó’s most famous landmarks, Rancho De Chimayo to celebrate. We coudn’t stop snapping photos of this beautiful couple with the amazing backdrops we kept finding all around!

Jennifer and Pablo … La Posada de Santa Fe

We love outdoor weddings, and Jennifer and Pablo’s Santa Fe nuptials is no exception. There is not a city that can compare to Santa Fe and La Posada de Santa Fe is the only resort located in the midst of it all downtown. Everywhere we turned, picturesque, tranquil moments happened. The day was magical, romance was intensified and this wedding bottled up those sentiments and infused them with a sense of joy you can literally feel looking at their photos. We were so lucky to be a part of their beautiful day!

Mariah and Austin … La Posada de Santa Fe

Mariah met Austin, a UNM law student and Texas native her freshman year at UNM while studying pharmacy. At semesters end, the couple stayed in touch throughout the summer while Mariah traveled abroad. Their relationship flourished as their time apart was spent getting to know each other through text and videos. Upon returning to Albuquerque to finish the school year, the couple has been inseparable ever since. Throughout their relationship, Mariah and Austin have made it a priority to make most amazing memories, the most enduring of which was as they were traveling throughout Europe. It was in Greece where Austin got down on one knee after serenading her with a newly purchased ukulele!

Mariah and Austin’s Santa Fe Santa Fe wedding blends beauty, tradition and romance all at once. Anyone looking for beautiful backdrops for photos while in Santa Fe will not be disappointed! The oldest state capitol in the nation, the photo opportunities are endless.
